What does the integration do?

  • Allows customers to create projects, subcontractors, and commitments in myCOI without leaving Procore.
  • Provides compliance updates from myCOI to Procore.

Will the integration be live as soon as I update/install the myCOI App in Procore?

Updating/Installing the myCOI App in Procore is just the first step in setting up the myCOI Procore integration. The integration does not pass any data between myCOI and Procore until you submit an email to myCOI advising the setup in Procore is complete and myCOI completes the setup on end.

Will updating the myCOI App automatically turn off my existing integration?

Updating the myCOI App will NOT automatically turn off your existing integration. Once you notify myCOI that you have completed the setup in Procore, myCOI will activate the enhanced integration and inactivate your current integration.

How does the integration process work?

  • Commitment Level Compliance: Using the Procore Project ID and Procore Company ID, myCOI will push compliance to the insurance tab in the Project Company Directory.
  • Vendor Level Compliance: Using the Procore Company ID, myCOI will push compliance to the insurance tab in the Company Directory.
  • Creating Projects, Vendors, and Commitments in myCOI: Using the Procore Side Panel, users can easily create projects, vendors, and commitments from Procore to myCOI. 

What are the available integration methods?

  • myCOI Procore Side Panel Configuration

What are the costs associated with integration?

How long does integration take?

The process to set up the integration can be completed within a few business days for existing customers.

Can I choose to only receive compliance and not have the myCOI Procore Side Panel?

Yes, you may choose to only have compliance updates pushed to Procore and not set up the Procore Side Panel.

Can I choose to only set up the myCOI Procore Side Panel and not have compliance push from myCOI to Procore?

Yes, you can choose to only activate the myCOI Procore Side Panel and not receive compliance updates in Procore.

Do I need the Procore commitments module for the integration to work?

The commitments module is only required if you would like to create assignments from Procore to myCOI.

Do I need a myCOI user login to use the integration?

myCOI user login is only required if you are trying to pass information from Procore to myCOI using the myCOI Procore Side Panel functionality.

If my current myCOI Procore integration automatically creates vendors in myCOI and I update to the new app version (DMSA), will the vendor data pull from Procore (for those vendors not yet in myCOI) still happen overnight or does that happen every 2 hours like the compliance push from myCOI?

Vendors on approved commitments that are not in myCOI will be updated approximately every 2 hours in myCOI.

If someone has a vendor-level Procore integration and are setup by project in Procore and myCOI, would they be able to see insurance information in the Project Directory on the Insurance tab?

Vendor level insurance is only visible at the Company Level under the insurance tab in Procore.

Will I still receive the email notification with Projects and Commitments that are in Procore but not in myCOI once I update the myCOI App in Procore?

  •  Yes, you will still receive the email with projects and commitments that are in Procore but not in myCOI.
  • These emails will be sent approximately every 2 hours instead of overnight

If I update the myCOI App in Procore will I still be able to enter data manually into myCOI?

Yes, updating your myCOI App in Procore will only make it so you are receiving compliance updates in Procore approximately every 2 hours. Nothing else should change.

How do I get access to the myCOI Procore Side Panel?

  • You must first update your myCOI Procore App to the latest version.
  • Then create the side panel configuration in the app (see Setup Instruction in the myCOI Procore App).
  • Once the steps above are complete send an email to myCOI to complete the setup.
