myCOI Gives Back to the Community

August 12, 2020

We recognize everyone is being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, but some more than others. In natural myCOI fashion, we quickly united to offer employees, friends, and family members an outlet to make a difference while remaining safe and healthy.

We created a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds to help our local community and those affected the most by this life-altering event. We want to continue to erase the worry for those in need. Our original goal was $5,000, and we have surpassed that with $6,743 to date. These funds have already gone directly to Gleaners Food Bank and Frontline Foods with future donations going to help hospitality staff.

More recently, we supported a colleague on her mission to raise funds and awareness for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. And now, we committed to the incredible mission to grant the wish of a 5-year old boy, Lucas, through our corporate ‘Wish Hero’ campaign with Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. Since launching in July, we sit at 81% to goal, and we are hopeful our contributions are able to give back to other kids and their wishes!

At myCOI, we have two jobs: operating to erase the worry around certificates of insurance and serve as a defender to those that need help, both inside and outside of our business. Being intentional around core values and what we expect of each teammate is critical for developing the culture we’ve always envisioned. Serving our community has been one of many meaningful ways to bring our team together, learn more about each other, and ourselves.

If you’re looking for a new opportunity with a company that puts humans first, leads with integrity, and values relationships of all kinds, check out our openings.

UPDATE: As of August 13, we not only hit our Wish Hero campaign goal, we exceeded it! Thank you to everyone who helped make Lucas’s wish come true!
