2017 & myCOI: Certificate Management in Review

January 2, 2018

Happy New Year of Cert Tracking!

2017 was the year of the client, that is for sure. We couldn’t be more proud of our clients finding cert tracking success with myCOI. And we’re also a little proud of our amazing team.

myCOI’s Company Growth

2017 brought with it several important company announcements. In May of 2017, myCOI announced that our headquarters moved to downtown Indianapolis and we are adding 185 new jobs by 2021. In addition to the company growth, our very own CEO, Kristen Nunery, gained the spotlight in Indianapolis for excelling as a female leader and entrepreneur.

In addition to our company growth plan is the growth of our products. A new addition to myCOI’s insurance tracking platform is the Document Management feature, which allows our clients to track many other types of documents in addition to Certificates of Insurance. The most commonly tracked documents include W9s, contracts, purchase orders, subrogation agreements, and other similar items. This new feature makes it possible to track the lifecycle of the documents, set expiration/renewal dates, receive alerts, and run valuable reports and best of all, store related documents—all in one convenient, easily accessible location. Think setting up vendors once, among many other benefits.

Product Integrations

2017 was the year of productized integrations for myCOI. We realize that our clients rely on other technologies to run their businesses, and being able to integrate those systems with our insurance tracking platform is extremely valuable. That’s why we invested in several new integrations that benefit construction and real estate, among other industries:

Construction

  • Procore
  • CMiC
  • Viewpoint
  • Textura

Real Estate

  • MRI Software

Business Management

  • Sage 300

In addition to these productized integrations, myCOI clients can easily keep insurance compliance up to date in their accounting software by connecting to our API or utilizing myCOI’s scheduled reports for daily imports.

After a fast-paced year of growth, our team is ready for 2018 and we’re excited to bring you more updates throughout the next year. As we move into another year, we wish you a happy new year of Certificate of Insurance tracking from all of us at myCOI to all of you!
